Ray was discharged from Neuro ICU at Loyola yesterday and was transported to MarianJoy in Wheaton. I can't believe they moved him so soon--he just had surgery on Friday and this is only Wednesday! This morning he had a temperature, 101.9 but was feeling okay. They had him in a chair for over an hour and said he tolerated it well. I miss him and love him so much. I know he will work hard to come home sooner. His nurse said on the phone it may be 10-12 weeks there, but that they reassess every week and that could always change.

Everyone in Big Rock and Batavia and with the family has been great. They all have been helping with the kids and shopping for my family and the house. Raymon is mowing the lawn and John and Frank will finish the basement. Everyone is helping. Tony is at Little Friends with Dominic right now. Today is my first day back at work, but it's been a quiet day. I am taking Raymon to see Ray tonight. I can't wait to see him.
